Presenting at the Ghana Green Building Summit

Unifi.id has had the fantastic opportunity to present at the 4th Ghana Green Building Summit 2021 on the subject of ‘Re-Imagining Facility Management in a Digital Age’. Founder Paul Sheedy will speak alongside a panel of leading figures in the FM sector within Ghana and across the globe, such as Head of Facilities Management at Fidelity Bank Obed K. Ampadu-Asiamah and Head of Property at Denton Property Managers Reginald Obeng.


Facility Management practice is changing by the day, and there is continued evidence for digital integration within the sector. This panel demonstrated the clear benefits of efficient operations management and digital integration, which should be treated as an investment with specific, measurable returns.


As the impact on the environment from inefficiencies in the commercial real estate sector becomes clear, the need for digitalisation has become apparent. The Covid-19 pandemic has also delivered the perfect storm for the sector. Buildings must move to data-led management, cutting energy usage significantly, and delivering better FM management as well as safer and more secure buildings. It is great to see Ghana leap-frogging to a digitalisation strategy along with many emerging countries who know the time to act is now.
